Ali Vezvaei joined Ecolog in June 2019 as the Chief Executive Officer and Spokesperson of the Management Board. Ali was named by Forbes as a top executive for the Middle East and North Africa for two consecutive years, and was the President and CEO of Bilfinger Middle East. Before assuming his position at Bilfinger, Ali was a driving force in his position of President and CEO at The Linde Group where he completed a 3 year stint. Prior to that, he spent just over a decade at multinational Siemens in several roles, with his most recent position being head of the company’s global oil and gas business.
Lumri first joined Ecolog in 2005 and held various roles in Marketing and Communications, Sales, and Contracts, and acted as Vice President for Business Development. After his appointment as Investment Director at ND Group’s Ventures in 2011, he returned to Ecolog in 2014 in the position of Managing Director, overseeing the company’s Business Development and Mergers and Acquisitions programs. From 2016 onwards he has served as Head of Business Development and Investments at ND Group before appointed to his recent role.
Lumri brings a wealth of experience and extensive corporate knowledge in the area of corporate development, identifying and assessing business opportunities, and strategic communication. Lumri studied Communication Science and Technology.
Abraham Sabbagh has held senior finance and operational roles within a number of multinational businesses, mainly in the healthcare, construction and logistics sectors.
He began his career in the healthcare industry before acquiring, growing and selling a healthcare business in the US. He later joined a leading contracting company in Dubai as Group CFO securing financing structures and stabilizing the business for acquisition during the 2008 financial crisis. Abraham was CFO for a number of high net worth family businesses in the region, overseeing M&A and consolidation of numerous companies across two continents, before joining a multi-national logistics and infrastructure company as its CFO and later its COO. Abraham assumes his new role at Ecolog transitioning from his current role as CFO of ND Group B.V.
Abraham holds a B.Sc. degree in Finance from UNLV, Nevada, USA.
Isni Aziri joined Ecolog in 2005. During his thirteen years with the company Isni has held a diverse range of operational, business development and managerial roles based out of Dubai, Macedonia, Germany and Qatar.
With a broad range of experience and solid understanding of key departments within Ecolog, Isni brings a key strength to lead the HR Department in Dubai, to grow and support development of the entire business and its employees.
Having worked the majority of his career with Ecolog, in multiple locations, remote sites and office, Isni has extensive experience working within a multi-cultural environment and speaks four languages.
Sugato Sanyal is the Managing Director, Finance of the Ecolog Group. He oversees the group’s financial planning and analysis, reporting, banking relationships and global tax strategy. He is a seasoned financial executive with over 25 years of experience, of which 18 years was spent gaining specialist expertise in dealing with firms operating over multiple countries within the GCC, Europe and Africa. He joined Ecolog as the Finance Director in 2011 and led the implementation and embedding of the SAP based Enterprise Resource System – bringing the financial practice within the group in line with global standards. Prior to moving to the UAE, Mr. Sanyal was a part of the finance function of the largest steel manufacturer in India.
He obtained his degree in Advanced Accounting from Calcutta University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
