Ecolog wins second RoSPA Gold Award for Safety
Ecolog’s ongoing mission to stand out in its commitment to occupational health and safety has again been recognized by receiving a second consecutive Gold Award at the RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards.
The internationally renowned Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Health and Safety Awards, the longest-running industry awards program in the UK, recognizes practices and achievements in safe working practices.
Ecolog Chief Operating Officer Andre Hansen accepted the award from RoSPA Trustee Don Lloyd at the 2018 awards ceremony, held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel in England on July 4.
Roy Griffin, Ecolog’s Vice President of Quality & Safety, said, “We are very proud to win this second award, which reinforces Ecolog’s pledge to foster a safe working environment and reduce workplace accidents. As this was only Ecolog’s second year of entering the RoSPA awards, it is a huge compliment to everyone in Ecolog to achieve yet another Gold Award. We will continue to work tirelessly to maintain our culture of safety in Ecolog, operating in what are very challenging locations around the world.”
The RoSPA Awards, which receives entries from organizations around the world, recognizes achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership, workforce involvement and outstanding levels of regulatory compliance.
To achieve a Gold Award for occupational health and safety, Ecolog has demonstrated the highest level of corporate management’s commitment of nurturing an excellent health and safety culture. The RoSPA Awards also adds to Ecolog’s growing global ethics and compliance commitment.
