Ecolog participates in Queen’s birthday celebrations in Skopje

Every year, British embassies worldwide celebrate the Queen’s birthday – and this year, Ecolog was proud to be the main sponsor of the UK Embassy in Macedonia’s celebrations at the Aleksandar Palace Hotel in Skopje.

This year’s event, which celebrated the Queen’s 92nd birthday, gathered more than 600 regional influencers for a night of celebration, including the Prime Minister of Macedonia, regional mayors, diplomatic staff, media representatives and business leaders. Senior representatives from Ecolog’s Tetovo office also attended the celebrations.

This year’s event was particularly important, at it also marked 25 years of diplomatic relations between the UK and Macedonia. In his speech, the UK Ambassador, Charles Edmund Garrett, highlighted the importance of this relationship and thanked Ecolog for supporting the event.

Faruk Ademi, VP of Business Development at Ecolog, said:

“As a business that was founded and has a large presence in Macedonia, it was a pleasure to be able to support the Queen’s birthday event. The 25-year anniversary of UK-Macedonian relations made the celebrations particularly special, and provided an opportunity for us to highlight the strength of our company’s relationship with the UK through our work supporting the Ministry of Defence on projects worldwide”.

Charles Edmund Garrett, UK Ambassador to Macedonia, said:

“I would like to particularly thank Ecolog as our general sponsor for this evening. I know that Ecolog has a strong relationship with the UK, not least in supplying food to British troops worldwide, and we are grateful for their generous support.”

In 2016, Ecolog was awarded with a global contract supplying and delivering food to all deployed British troops in standing locations, exercise missions and in-flight meals.
