Ecolog becomes a member of UK’s leading safety organisation RoSPA
Ecolog is now a member of UK’s leading safety charity RoSPA that promotes safety, the prevention of accidents and supports companies in improving their safety performance. With its membership Ecolog fully supports the important work of RoSPA and at the same time will benefit from the extensive expertise RoSPA will provide to further improve Ecolog’s safety performance at its locations around the world.
Having current certifications against the various ISO systems, becoming a member of RoSPA amplifies Ecolog’s commitment to take care of its people, customers and the environment, and to operate a safe, injury free and healthy workplace. As a RoSPA member, Ecolog will gain a wealth of experience, knowledge and information from the RoSPA dedicated safety experts and this will support Ecolog’s ambition to reach its goals of ‘Safety First. Always’.
Roy Griffin, Ecolog’s Vice President Quality and Safety, says: “As part of the ongoing Ecolog safety strategy and to complement our OHSAS 18001 Certification, the aim of RoSPA Membership is to further enhance our employee’s knowledge towards safety. The RoSPA offers a great safety insight across all our lives, not just in the work place. So by being a RoSPA Member will allow our employees to improve their understanding of safety and to take this knowledge home and to help safeguard their families as well.”
RoSPA has been at the heart of accident prevention in the UK and around the world. RoSPA promotes safety and the prevention of accidents at work, at leisure, on the road, in the home and through safety education. With thousands of organisations from small and medium enterprises, to large international organisations, that stand up and support the charity’s mission ‘to save lives and reduce injuries’.
